December 13
Still here, but a noticeable decline from yesterday. Each day weaker.
Each day his breathing is more ragged and more shallow. Soon, the air he breathes will be the very presence of Jesus. He will breathe deeply then. Native air.

I'm still praying for you in Kuwait! Love & peace, Sheryll
And, again today we will sit with you in spirit an so much love. We wait with expectation and wonder that God is preparing a place for Wayne - a mansion so beautiful - beyond our ability to comprehend. I can only imagine.....
Hugs to you today.

Standing watch with you all this morning and praying...
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5-6
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col. 1:11-14
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Col. 3:15-17

Native air INDEED! Free at last and home forever more. Perfect reminder of the true meaning of that song, Julie.
Our love and prayers remain with you, Jennifer, Stinson, Kennedy and Brantley. May God's strength, comfort and presence be very real to you this day.

Jennifer, I have been working through "The Life Changing Power in the Name of Jesus" in preparation for a study beginning Jan. 10, 2006. On page 37 you pointed out that...What the disciples would someday learn is that "the presence of Jesus is the destination." That was when Jesus got in the boat with the disciples and the wind calmed down. I have had that in my mind every time I have checked the blogspot. This morning your remark about breathing native air is so true. Thanks you for every thought and every word about this journey of Wayne's into the Presence of Jesus.

Been gone and away from a computer so I was very much wanting to get on this morning. Like you and through you... I have been watching whatever God has been doing with Wayne...with peace and understanding that to be here is wonderful but to be apart from the body is to be with Christ...so we hold onto things with a loose grip...
The ring was so touching to read...
I have not read your new book yet...so I am going to go get it now and read it.
God has a new chapter in your life that is unfolding...I wonder what you will write....
Praying...
Kerri
We,too, feel the sweetness of "native air." We are here in the South but when we pray for you God transports us to the Midwest and we stand in the presence of the Holy One of Israel as He reigns over the Dean household.
